Local Kids Learn as they Paint

Rainforests and Turtles!

This summer, two first-grade classes at the Christopher School enjoyed a day painting ceramic turtles from Petroglyph. As part if its community outreach program, Nature Now International educates students about science and the environment. These local kids learned all about rainforests and ecosystems while participating in a fun and engaging activity.

About Nature Now International was formed by students to promote scientific research and community service for ecology and conservation. We work directly with wildlife and nature in the rainforest and the ocean. Nature Now International conducts projects with veterinarians and biologists within Costa Rica and abroad, forming international collaborations within the fields of ecology, wildlife medicine and conservation.
