1. Choose your piece
2. Pick your paint -  one light color and one darker color
3. Gather your tools and materials - brushes, lace
4. Paint the lightest color over the entire surface and let dry
5. Place the lace 
6. Paint another coat of the same light color over the lace and let dry
7. Paint or sponge a coat of the darker paint and let dry
8. Gently remove the lace and voila!
